Welcome to Savana at Porto Cupecoy in chic St Maarten, our spacious and contemporary 2000 sq. ft. condo located on a prime site within the exclusive Porto Cupecoy marina. Its flexible accommodation offers one or two bedrooms, depending on the size of your party. Designed for indoor and outdoor living, its spacious and airy interior extends to a generous 1454 square feet with an additional 550 square feet of covered terrace. A home away from home, attention has been paid to every detail for guests' enjoyment and comfort.

The contemporary chic interior features an Italian leather wrap-around couch, modern and local art pieces, a six-seater glass top dining table and similar stylish outdoor living furniture to pamper you during your vacation stay.

 

The main bedroom has a king-size bed, flat screen TV and is fully air conditioned along with a ceiling fan for total comfort. The en-suite, luxury marble bathroom has a full bath with a marble travertine countertop, twin his and hers basins and a separate shower room.  The second guest bedroom has a queen-size bed, a separate, marble luxury shower room with stylish basin and is also fully air conditioned with a ceiling fan.

A note from the owner 

​

Based in London, I have been visiting St Maarten for over 20 years, and for an island that's barely 37sq miles, I have always been amazed by the incredible choice of activities and the contrast of the French and Dutch sides. 

​

With well over 25 years working with Caribbean tourism organisations and selling vacations to this beautiful part of the world, this tiny island was like a breath of fresh air. It had nicely balanced traditional old school Caribbean with a dash of European modernism not to mention it being a stones throw away from Anguilla and St Barths.

 

I fell in love straight away and decided out of all the umpteen islands I had visited, this is where I wanted to lay my hat and make it my home in the sun. Having learnt that Orient Express was building a marina development, I investigated, had an early evening meeting with the sales representative and even though I couldn't quite see the plans she laid out, I was totally sold on the concept. The development has truly lived up to its expectations and I continue to savour every minute that I spend in the apartment.

 

I love the sunrise at about 6am where the reflection on the marina just glistens and reaffirms the peacefulness at that time of the day. Outdoor dining on the covered terraced is de rigueur, it somehow makes the food and wine taste more delightful. I am happy to share my home with you and perhaps hope to meet you one day and share your experiences and stories.
